Crop to a fixed ratio
Select the original ratio or a common preset, then drag, resize, or enter the crop position and width. The crop remains inside the decoded image and preserves the selected ratio.
Re-encoding and privacy
Images are decoded and exported locally in your browser. JPEG and WebP are re-encoded with the requested quality setting; PNG is re-encoded losslessly, though canvas decoding can affect color representation and metadata is not preserved.

- No. The image is processed locally in your browser.
- Q. Will cropping preserve image metadata?
- No. The downloaded crop is newly encoded and should not be expected to retain EXIF or other source metadata.
- Q. Why can the output file size change?
- Cropping changes pixel count and the browser re-encodes the image. Codec implementation, content, format, and quality all affect size.
